Presbyterian Association Musicians Series

Presbyterian Association Musicians Series

The Presbyterian Association of Musicians Music Series provides theologically sound and musically excellent resources in the support of Reformed Worship. With particular emphasis given to the Presbyterian tradition, the series primarily focuses on sound choral literature with an emphasis on the Psalter and congregational singing.

The PAM series is edited by David Erwin. David Erwin has been Director of Music Ministry and Organist at Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church since 2005. He is responsible for the overall music program, which includes the Chancel Choir, Youth Choir, Carol Choir, Chorister Choir, Chapel Ringers and Revelation Ringers. He studied at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey, where he received undergraduate and graduate degrees in Church Music. Joan Lippincott was his principal organ professor with additional study in Paris with Marie-Louise Langlais.

David serves as a member of the Executive Board of the Presbyterian Association of Musicians, and is co-chair of the Worship Committee of the 223rd General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, which will meet in St. Louis in June 2018. David is also an active member of the American Guild of Organists.
