These three songs will find countless uses at special services for years to come. All three are suitable for medium voice, may be sung by less-experienced soloists, and are provided with both piano and organ accompaniments.
1. “O God of Love” is specifically for weddings; the soloist invokes God’s blessing, singing that “they may in thee be one.”
2. “The Peace of Christ” is inspired by Colossians 3:12-17; the song opens with “May peace from Christ come dwell in you.” It is suitable any time a song of blessing is needed: weddings, baptisms, reception of new members.
3. "The Irish Blessing" (“May the road rise up to meet you”) is a much-loved text with a beautiful new melody. It can be sung at funerals, weddings, or at the close of any gathering.
Each solo is available with either organ or keyboard accompaniment.
